Embamanan is usually made of brass with sophisticated and intricate design depicting Moro tradition of the art of OKIRAS inspired by medieval middle –eastern design or pattern. Betel nut (areca)is one of the ingredients for chewing bum by Moro old folks. The other ingredients are Lime powder (apug), fresh pepper leaf (Buyo) and damped tobacco leaves. Some betel box have belt looped and worn around the waist.
